Choosing your Granite
Choosing the exact slab of granite to be used for your project will be fun and ensure your enjoyment for years to come. But what should you look for? What do you need to be aware of in order to make a good decision?
Choosing a color may be the easiest part of your selection. Because granite is a natural stone it is not uniform, and no two slabs are exactly alike. Each will have unique properties such as pitting, color variation, texture and shading. Take the time to touch and feel the slab you are considering to better appreciate its natural properties.
As one of the oldest and most experienced stone fabricators in Arizona, Abbott Granite has some of the finest craftsmen in the industry that can work wonders with the granite slab you choose. Take your time, have fun, and make certain you choose carefully.
